Care for Your Set
Nail Aftercare
A few simple habits keep your set looking fresh and protect your natural nails between appointments.
🧼
First 24 Hours
- Avoid hot water, long showers, and saunas for the first 24 hours so the polish fully cures.
- Skip the gym, pools, and heavy housework on day one.
- Don't pick at the cuticle area or push on the edges of your nails.
💧
Daily Care
- Apply cuticle oil daily — this is the #1 thing for nail health and longevity.
- Wear gloves when cleaning, gardening, or washing dishes.
- Use your fingertips, not your nails, to open cans, scratch labels, or pry things.
🛁
What to Avoid
- Don't bite, peel, or pick at your nails or polish.
- Avoid acetone-based hand sanitizers — they break down gel and chrome.
- Avoid prolonged hot water exposure (long baths, hot tubs).
🔁
Refills & Removal
- Book a refill every 2–3 weeks to maintain shape and prevent lifting.
- Never pull or peel a set off — this rips off layers of your natural nail.
- Book a proper removal appointment or soak gently in pure acetone with cotton + foil for 20–30 min.
